Oranges & Lemons – Floribunda Rose
Oranges & Lemons is a Floribunda of bold, playful personality – producing large numbers of intriguing, irregularly striped flowers in a vivid combination of orange and lemon-yellow that creates an immediately eye-catching and unique display. ✂️ Pruning Guide
Prune in late February. For a compact, bushy plant, hard prune all main stems back to around 15 cm (6 inches) above the bud union – this produces strong new growth and the best flower size. For a larger, more established plant with greater spread, prune back by approximately half instead, removing any dead, diseased, or crossing stems. Either way, always cut to an outward-facing bud to maintain an open shape. Deadhead spent flowers through summer to encourage continuous repeat-flowering into autumn.
🌱 Planting & Care
Plant in well-prepared soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend adding Empathy Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi at planting to establish a strong root system quickly. Water regularly during the first growing season. Feed with a specialist rose fertiliser in spring and again after the first flush of flowers.

Shipping & Returns
Delivery cost £3.49 per order. Delivery 2-3 working days.
We use DPD for all our Bush rose deliveries & DX Freight for all standard roses, upon dispatch you will receive an email confirming your rose has been shipped and providing you updates through delivery confirming estimated time of arrival.
Unfortunately due to updated plant health requirements following Brexit we are only able to ship to Mainland (including Isle of White) UK excluding Northern Ireland.
Our standard delivery is 1 - 3 days from point of order although may be extended in busy periods. We do not post roses on Fridays. As our roses are live plants we sometimes delay sending in extreme cold or heat to avoid them perishing due to extended delivery times.
Bare root roses on pre-order will be dispatched in the Autumn / Winter, any orders placed not on pre-order will be dispatched on a Tuesday.
How will my rose arrive
We have specially designed boxes to ensure any roses bought from us will travel safely to your home.
Bare root roses are dispatched between October and February each year. We do allow pre-orders of bare root roses and will send them out once the stock is ready. It may be the case that some orders are fulfilled earlier than others depending on which varieties were on order.
Our new crop of potted roses are dispatched from October and will arrive as newly potted bare root plants. These are ok to be planted out straight away or you can wait till the rose has started rooting in and plant in the spring. Sending out these potted roses ensures you receive the best product as the rose remains well in moist compost through the journey and when planting you have a pot of our special blend of compost to get your rose off to the best of start.
In spring our roses will still be very small to look at but will have rooted into the pot and will be showing strong young growth.
May - September we will do our best to send out roses in flower or in bud but this will depend on the growing season as we may have to cut back the plant to keep them healthy with fresh growth.
How to care for Roses

I have never purchased plants via the internet and to be honest I did not know what I was buying.
I found the rose on 4 different websites so I sent the same email to each of them asking several questions about size etc.
Out of the emails sent I only received one email in reply in 24 hours. As a point of interest I never had any replies from the other 3 companies.
My reply came from Oliver who took the time to explain things and gave me sizes.
I ordered two roses which came to about £50.
The roses came a few days later in a very large box, no damage possible to the roses or pots.
My husband was impressed with the look of the plants and very happy. The are still out of the flowering season but we can not see any problems ahead.
It was due to the advice and time spent by Oliver that the order was replaced, will use a gain.
I bought this rose as a bare root last Autumn and has been admired by so many people so I ordered 2 online from here as gifts. They were despatched quickly and packaged the best I’ve ever known. One rose was in bloom and perfect, the other had young growth that was broken off. However, it wasn’t a problem for me as one was for a gift immediately and the other later in the Summer. I cut the broken stems off and am hoping that it will put on some stronger growth before I gift it. Both roses have a good root system - I’ve purchased roses elsewhere early in the year that have only just been potted up so there is no root system to support the plant! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here again.
I love the rosa "Oranges and Lemons" The rose looks exactly like your pictures. I will plant tulips "Flaming parrot" to continue the theme next spring. Has shade in the morning and glows in the dusk light.
The roses came in excellent condition, well packed and a very prompt delivery, would recommend anytime, thank you, very pleased
