I learned a lot! Not sure I was able to put it all into practice, but I have done more pruning than for a long time. The flowering will tell. Lots of stuff coming up in the garden, just when we have some decent weather - and I am about to go on holiday

Also opportunity to have a look around owners garden to see different types of roses and how they have been managed over the years. Now have the skills and knowledge to look after my own roses.

I went into this pruning demo with the expectation that we would be shown how to prune roses but actually learned so much more..
How important feeding roses is. Correct soil for roses & don't plant a new rose in same soil were a previous rose was growing. Best secateurs to use are cross cut. The different types & variety of roses and their characteristics.
An excellent demo and such good value for money.
Highly recommended.
