Having grown roses as a family for over 100 years, we are confident that any rose you buy from us will thrive in your garden.
Henry Street Nursery offer a 2 year guarantee with any roses bought from this website or through our garden centre. If you experience any issues with the establishment of roses purchased from us within the first 2 years of planting please send pictures to roses@henrystreet.co.uk or call our team on 0118 9761223 to speak to a member of our team.
Henry street reserve the right to offer a direct replacement, alternative rose, additional care advice to give the existing plant more time to grow or a full refund for any roses covered by the rose guarantee. A picture of the rose will be required for any guarantee requests alongside a picture of the colour plant label supplied with each rose.
Shipping & Returns
Delivery cost £2.49 per order. Delivery 2-3 working days.
We use DPD for all our deliveries, upon dispatch you will receive an email confirming your rose has been shipped and providing you updates through delivery confirming estimated time of arrival.
Unfortunately due to updated plant health requirements following Brexit we are only able to ship to Mainland (including Isle of White) UK excluding Northern Ireland.
Our standard delivery is 1 - 3 days from point of order although may be extended in busy periods. We do not post roses on Fridays. As our roses are live plants we sometimes delay sending in extreme cold or heat to avoid them perishing due to extended delivery times.
How will my rose arrive
We have specially designed boxes to ensure any roses bought from us will travel safely to your home.
Our new crop of roses are dispatched from October and will arrive as newly potted bare root plants. These are ok to be planted out straight away or you can wait till the rose has started rooting in and plant in the spring. We feel that sending potted roses ensures you receive the best product as the rose remains well in moist compost through the journey and when planting you have a pot of our special blend of compost to get your rose off to the best of start.
In spring our roses will still be very small to look at but will have rooted into the pot and will be showing strong young growth.
May - September we will do our best to send out roses in flower or in bud but this will depend on the growing season as we may have to cut back the plant to keep them healthy with fresh growth.

I’ve had Mme Alfred Carriere on the front of my house for many years. It’s so pretty, repeat flowers and soft but robust foliage. This is for my daughter to grow along a fence. Very few thorns which is a real bonus.
The four shrub roses arrived as promised and very well packaged. The rose bushes themselves look strong and healthy, and I hope, having taken great care to plant them in the right soil and position, they will prove to be both fragrant and vigorous over time.
Bought rose for my Mum. Although the delivery was late it was still very healthy when it arrived. She was very pleased and would recommend and use again.

Unfortunately because of delivery courier DPD.it arrived about 4 days after the Anniversary which was disappointing.

Ordered on I think 2nd April sat in DPD warehouse from 3rd April until delivered on the 8th.
The rose arrived well packaged within a couple of days. It appeared to be healthy. I can't give the actual rose much of a review as it arrived cut back hard and hasn't really started growing yet. This review is more a reflection of the service by the nursery.
A very nice healthy patio rose, very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. Now safely planted out and doing well. Too early to comment on the flowers.
We are only a few weeks in, but bush arrived in super quick time and well packaged. We left it in the pot for a couple of days to settle down after transport. I knew I wanted Cecile Brunner and found this good value option. I would have preferred a few more pictures of it in situ - if I hadn’t already made up my mind. The order arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. It is growing in well. Good communication from order to delivery.
Only received this recently so I can't comment on its growth, etc. It was, however, a healthy plant and extremely well-packed and, if that is anything to go by, I have every confidence that it will perform as claimed.

Scentation Bush
These plants were very well packaged for dispatch. They were in good sized pots with chips around the top.
They have been winter pruned and are only short branches at the moment so no flowers or plant to review yet.

Great Product
I have ordered previously from Henry Street and was very happy to go back to them for a further order.I rang them wanting to order over the phone and because I had some questions.I was promised a call back in 15 minutes but it never happened.When I rang the next day and told of this the lady answering was less than amicable and I was asked why I had not ordered on line.The conversation was very short!The roses however were of the usual excellent standard and the service in respect of delivery time first class.would not hesitate to use them again but will avoid ringing them up!
